At Danesmoor we offer wrap around care that is designed to work to meet the needs of busy families and children between the ages of 4 and 11 for 2 local schools, Abbey and Mowden.
Before School starts from 7.30am and we provide the children with a choice of toast, cereal, milk, and water. Children can relax before school with their friends, sit and read a book quietly,or select an activity of their choosing before walking to school.
Following a busy day at school, the After School Club children are brought straight back to the setting and are provided with a ‘high tea,’ which consists of an afternoon snack such as, sandwiches, crumpets, cheese, and crackers etc. (Please note this is not a full tea and children should still be given an appropriate tea when taken home).
Practitioners in the room will plan and provide age-appropriate activities, with a wide selection of toys and games, creative arts and crafts, and a fun outdoor area to keep them entertained
