Our Toddler room is for our lively two- to three-year-olds. This room has the space that allows our more energetic two-year-olds to explore and have fun. The toddler team have the important role of getting your child ready for a more independent learning environment in Pre-School.
As with all our rooms, our Keyworker system ensures that each child’s individual needs are understood and cared for, and each child’s Learning Journey is carefully documented and shared with parents. All members of staff in this room work closely with management and Darlington Borough Council to ensure that the important two-year old checks are completed accurately and smoothly.
Toddlers is divided into two different rooms, including a quiet room and a creative room. The children have access to all areas throughout the day and we ensure all our rooms are cosy and homely in order to facilitate a smooth transition from our baby room. They have a variety of well-presented resources and furniture, with plenty of natural and heuristic resources to engage their imaginations and further develop the most important early skills
